Dwarka is located in South West Delhi district of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and the sub-city is facing a hard time in maintaining the roads. Major roads and slip roads are seen in a bad condition in the centre of Dwarka near Ashirvad Chowk, Dwarka Sec-11, Ramphal Chowk and many other places.
The various roads connecting Dwarka Sector 12 Metro Station with various sectors such as sec 13, 14 including 3 and 4 are badly damaged. Most of the people living near these areas have already complained to the local authorities but no action has been taken and the roads are in the same condition from the last 2 years. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) says that they are working on the issue and soon the roads will be fixed.
Similarly, in various other parts of Dwarka urgent repair is required to the damaged slip roads and roads which have an adverse effect on the livelihood of people.
