Yup, you got it right, this is about the increasing number of sculptures being introduced in Dwarka in the current times. And we’ve got a lot of variety 😉 I mean, who doesn’t want to see a huge man with no face right!
What is it actually? Well, some call it “modern” or “contemporary” art. Thankfully not the kind where there is just a dot on splash on a wall which, if understood, answers some big questions of life or something like that. It’s a decent work to look at while you’re driving through the area. Personally, thought a better scene to look at rather than seeing delhi people fight over nothing on roads. And sometimes it could be help a child have some curiosity in something new than his/her books.
All in all, it’s a good measure by the government to increase the vanishing beauty of the golden capital in small ways and of course this means more work for those awesome sculpture makers! Who knew we could make other things rather than “ravana” and not smoke it up!!, although of course they’re a pretty sight too during the season.
In the end would like to say, grab your bicycle (because climate change is real!! and obesity) and a camera and share some of your artistic pictures of these sculptures in your area and share it with us.
