According to recent reports, Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi is expected to attend the Dussehra celebrations in Dwarka this year. PM Modi will be present to grace the occasion organised by Dwarka Ram Leela Society at DDA Ground in Dwarka Sector-10.
Ex MLA and Chairman of the society, Rajesh Gehlot, commented that Prime Minister is scheduled to reach the venue at 5:30 PM in Dwarka.
The entry will be restricted after 3 PM for the common public, due to security reasons.
The Dussehra celebrations in Sector-10 is attended by a hefty number of people every year, the number rising to upto 70,000. However, this year, due to PM Modi’s expected visit, a minimum crowd of 100,000 is expected.
Since PM Modi’s focus on single use plastic has been in the fad, the guests will be served refreshments in Kulhad cups and the use of products alternative to plastic will be given more preference. Also, keeping in mind the expected footfall, huge screens have been installed for the comfort of everyone visiting the Mela.
Also speculations are, that President, Ram Nath Kovind might be present with PM Narendra Modi at Dwarka’s Sector-10 to celebrate this festival of Dussehra with the public.
