Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a ride in the Airport Express Metro from Dhaula Kuan to Dwarka on way to lay the foundation stone of India International Convention and Expo Centre on Thursday Official sources said the ride was completed in 18 minutes.

A convention center in its most comprehensible way would mean a place where people gather in for meetings and discuss about similar ideologies that may pertain to official work, business conferences or even fandom meets.

Dwarka- The bustling city of Delhi NCR has an astonishing project coming in line soon. With news of city’s very own multiplex and mall giving us a chill of bewilderment, next in line is our very own exhibition-cum-convention center (ECC).

The union ministry of commerce and industry commented that the ₹25,703 crore project would be completed by the year 2025. Officials related to this upcoming project quoted that the first phase that will include a convention center with a seating capacity of 10,000 guests, two exhibition halls spread over 80,000 square meter area and a foyer, would be ready by October 2019 and the second phase including hostels, offices and retail spaces would be ready by 2025. The ECC is proposed to be spread over 90 hectares of land in Sector 25, Dwarka, with overall built-up space of 1.02 million square meters.

The connectivity is also excellent as it is just 15 minutes away from the IGI airport and also the ministry is in talks for the extension of Sector 21 Metro Station which makes it super accessible.
This new convention center will be a very crucial development in the city of Dwarka and will provide innumerable opportunities and help provide new facilities while also expanding the existing ones. This is a kick start to a new beneficial facility.
