Dwarka gets speed cameras to catch traffic violators

Major places in Delhi-NCR have set up Speed cameras in the city to catch traffic violations such as Red light jumping, Overspeeding, Wrong side driving, zebra crossing violations and many more. These cameras will detect traffic violations and Generate E-Challan for your vehicle number.

Dwarka has set up various speeding cameras in the list, As we know the new traffic norms have kicked in and now, the government is beefing up its road infrastructure to detect more traffic violations.

The speed limit in the Delhi Region is 50-60kmph for normal vehicles. Here is a list of some places where speeding cameras are installed in Dwarka.

  1. Golf course road Dwarka-Sec24, This road connects many morning offices going to Gurgaon (Gurugram) from Dwarka, many speeding cameras and Traffic Police officers are seen on a daily basis.
  2. Dwarka Sector 21-22 Dwarka Road, This road has installed speeding cameras between Vivanta by taj and Dwarka sec-21 metro station. 
  3. Central Road of Dwarka Sec-21, Near Dwarka international school you will see newly installed speeding cameras, These cameras also support night vision.
  4. Redlight Sector 12 Dwarka road, While going towards NLU (National Law University) from Venketeshwar international school, The redlight have installed 3 hidden cameras just under the Red-Light so that it cant get noticed easily.
  5. Redlight Sector 1 Dwarka, This road connects Madhu vihar bus terminal to Palam Flyover, This road has also installed speeding cameras.

Camera installation is under process in various other parts of Dwarka so that people should follow traffic rules and obey them sincerely. Sorry if missed any places in Dwarka.

There are various other places in Delhi NCR such as near Jawaharlal Nehru University, GT Karnal Road, Moti Bagh, DND highway which connects Delhi to Noida has also seen two cameras being installed at different areas to detect speed.

These cameras have been arranged and mounted by automobile major Maruti Udyog Limited as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project.
